Meet singer-songwriter Ally London.
Though she has been studying classical music and training operatically, Ally London first found her love of music through pop.
Born in Memphis, Tennessee, and raised in Nashville, Ally has always had music in her blood, whether it be blues, country, or pop. She grew up singing jazz, but wasn’t about to stop there. Soon, she branched out into classical singing as well. She trained as an opera singer at the Royal Academy of Music, where she earned a Master’s degree in classical voice. Her classical music background informs her approach to contemporary pop music, distinguishing her wholly original sound.
“Reminiscent of Sad Pop icons like Ethel Cain and Phoebe Bridgers” (Josh Jordan, Operation615), she seeks to express authenticity through vulnerable creative writing that doesn’t cut corners. She writes lyrics audiences can relate to that still transcend the mundane. While coming up with catchy melodies and grooves that get stuck in your head, she communicates moving emotional honesty.
Ally London currently lives in London. She lives in her hometown, Nashville, some of the year as well. Between the two cities, she performs shows regularly, having recently been featured at the first SXSW London music festival and as a Sofar Sounds artist.
In 2023, she released her debut album, In Plain Sight, following her debut EP, Kaleidoscopes. Both collections are available to stream, wherever you get your music.

“Kaleidoscopes is a heart-wrenching compilation of melancholy tunes, all relaying London’s experiences with love… From top to bottom, it’s a fantastic grouping of songs. The EP grips you and doesn’t let go until the final breath of ‘Stupid & Sad.’”
